The CanExport SMEs program provides financial assistance of up to $50,000 to Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help them access new international markets, especially in emerging markets.

Eligibility Criteria

Canadian SMEs with fewer than 500 full-time employees and annual revenue between $100,000 and $100 million.

Businesses must be for-profit and have a registered Canada Revenue Agency business number.

Ineligible entities include sole proprietorships and companies focused on recreational cannabis.

Application Process

Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
